BEST known for the ultimate innovative dance track Crazy, Gnarls Barkley are back with their unique sound for a brand new 13-track album.
The release date for the duo's second album The Odd Couple was brough forward due to huge demand, and albums have been flying off the shelf since it was released on March 31.
Having finished touring with Take That, Cee-lo from Gnarls Barkley has settled down to finish off an album that proves the duo weren't just a won-hit wonder.
The Odd Couple takes the playful creativity that distinguished the duo's debut St Elsewhere and expands the energy, the soul and the psychological complexity.
Commencing with the hypnotic Charity Case, The Odd Couple showcases 13 songs including Who's Gonna Save My Soul which mixes melancholy Motown balladry and parched Delta blues.
Suprise has introspective lyrics and sunny backing vocals, and A Little Better closes with an uplifting expression of graditiude.
The second offering from the group looks set to rival the success of their first album St Elsewhere that scooped two Grammy Awards including Best Alternative Music Album and Best Urban Alternative Song.
A diverse collection of genres - ranging from Motown, to Jazz to Blues, Gnarls Barkley really have captured dance music with an edge.
