IT will soon be curtain up on Morpeth's Old Time Music Hall.
The town's Theatre Group is turning the clock back to Victorian times for a Summer fundraising show.
The event, which is being staged at St James's Centre on Friday and Saturday, July 3 and 4, is a mix of song, music and comedy, plus a smattering of Victorian-type melodrama.
Rehearsals for the show are under way at the Community Centre at St George's Hospital.
Producer Gordon Carr said: "The show is an important fundraiser to help us keep the pantomime at King Edward VI School an event in the Morpeth calendar for many years to come.
"The entertainment is loosely based on a Victorian theme, with plenty of audience participation, some talented solists, both serious and light-hearted, a good mix of comedy, and plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in some favourite old songs."
