The Princess Royal took a walk in the park at Morpeth on Wednesday.
And our photographers were there to capture the occasion on camera.
This slide show of images reflects her visit to Morpeth's ancient Chantry, her meeting with victims of last September's floods, and her greeting by hundreds of schoolchildren when she took a stroll in Carlisle Park, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
