THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Heddon On The Wall: Mr Mike Shingler, Oakstone Farm, installation of two PPC domestic flues for multi-fuel burner, installation of timber fence and gates at boundary and installation of timber trellis within site boundary.

Mitford: Environment Agency, land south east of Lightwater Lodge, understream flood storage area, which is part of flood alleviation scheme for the town of Morpeth, comprising a dam across the River Wansbeck, control building, plant room kiosk, new access road and associated works, including potential borrow pits.

Morpeth: Mrs Amanda Forbes, 10 Churchburn Drive, Loansdean, proposed loft conversion; Miss Sarah Wilkinson, 3 Brumell Drive, conversion of part of garage to living accommodation with first floor extension above and single storey ground floor extension to rear; Mr Gordon Straughan, 1 Marden Close, construction of conservatory to rear; Mrs Michele MacCallam, junction from C146 to Grandstand Cottages, widening of access road off C146 leading to Grandstand Cottages.

Ponteland: Mr Mateo Espinosa, Peel House, Main Street, proposed rendering of WCs’ rear wall facing the development.

Wallington Demesne: Ms Anna Shiel, Wallington, erection of single composting toilet unit in West Wood play area.
