Latest bids for planning permission

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Ellington and Linton: Northumberland County Council, Ellington Roundabout, Front Street, Ellington, advertisement consent for two free standing signs, RS0047.

Hepscott: Northumberland County Council, Stobhill Roundabout, advertisement consent for four retrospective free standing signs, RS0046.

Longhorsley: Mr Andrew Fielder, land west of South Birks, steel portal framed extension, measuring 12.2m long x 13.5m wide x 4.7m height to eaves, to extend from the north gable of an existing Farmplan building constructed in 2008.

Morpeth: The Environment Agency, flood alleviation scheme areas along River Wansbeck, Oldgate, application for a flood alleviation scheme for the town of Morpeth comprising new and improved embankments and flood defence walls, a new tree screen and other defence measures along the River Wansbeck.

Pegswood: Northumberland County Council, Pegswood Roundabout and Whorral Bank Roundabout, advertisement consent for three free standing signs, RS0039, and two free standing signs, RS0040.

Ponteland: Northumberland County Council, Dobbies Roundabout, A696 county boundary to Ponteland Road, advertisement consent for four free standing signs, RS0041; Northumberland County Council, Callerton Roundabout, Callerton Lane, advertisement consent for three free standing signs, RS0020; Ms Jill Houghton, Foxglove Cottage, Dissington Lane, proposed extension of double garage and kitchen to existing dwelling; Mr Gordon Rowell, land north of 84-92 Runnymede Road, Darras Hall, variation of condition 6 of permission CM/20090080, proposed erection of four dwellings with associated access and landscaping, to read ‘no development, save for works to the access road in drawing 2012-04, shall be commenced until the following components of a scheme to deal with the risks associated with contamination of the site shall each be submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority’.

Stannington: Mr Michael Walton, Trefoil, The Drive, variation to condition 2 of 11/02210/FUL.

Tritlington and West Chevington: Mr Ian Turvey, The Bungalow, Tritlington, variation to condition 2 of X73/62, use of dwelling by non-agricultural worker.

Widdrington Village: Northumberland County Council, Widdrington Roundabout, A1068 Widdrington to Hadston, advertisement consent for four free standing signs, RS0049; Northumberland County Council, Houndalee Roundabout, advertisement consent for three free standing signs, RS0016.
