THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: Mr Hans Porksen, land east of Rose Cottage, removal of two sycamore trees within hedgerow.

Hebron: Mr D Mancey, Benridge Hagg, conversion of garage and disused stable into habitable cottage and construction of new garage.

Lynemouth: Mr H Deol, Park Road, one two storey, three-bedroom house.

Matfen: Mrs Freda Johnson, Butcher Hill Farm, construction of equestrian manege for personal use.

Morpeth: Mr Seb Stevens, The Black Swan, Shields Road, Stobhillgate, non-material amendment to application 12/01769/FUL, amendment to approved parking layout fenestration on approved extension; Ms Samantha Frizzel, 21 Fourth Avenue, construction of two storey side extension.

Ponteland: Mr Robert Elliott, Crest View, The Avenue, Medburn, non-material amendment to permission 11/02009/FUL, demolition of existing flat roofed garage and construction of new garage with pitched roof, amendment to replace dormer windows with velux windows; Mr and Mrs Lee, 83 Runnymede Road, Darras Hall, erection of two storey, four-bedroom dwelling house and garage, residential garden and means of enclosure; Mr and Mrs Elliott, 9 Runnymede Road, demolition of existing dwelling replaced with new build two storey dwelling; Mrs Kath Mavin, land north of playground, Callerton Lane, proposed erection of skatepark with associated landscaping and erection of CCTV mast; Mr J Lowdon, 13 The Rise, Darras Hall, demolition of existing house and construction of new house; Mr Christopher White, Nichols Bakery, 2 Merton Road, change of use from A1 retail (bakery) to a split A1 retail (bakery)/A3 cafe.

Stannington: Mr Chris Kelly, The Stables, High Clifton, Clifton, non-material amendment to permission CM/20110127, revision of cladding to north and west elevations from stone to timber, western red cedar.

Whalton: Mr Barry Swan, Wells House, Berkley Terrace, fell one maple, reduce one cherry by 2m and remove self-seeded branches.

Widdrington Station and Stobswood: Banks Mining Group, land south east of Ferneybeds Farm, Mile Road, Widdrington Station, phased extraction by surface mining techniques of 752,000 tonnes of coal and 200,000 tonnes of fireclay and other minerals where viable.
