THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Hebron: Mr Dennis Mancey, Benridge Hagg, construction of a detached garage.

Kirkwhelpington: Mr J Anderson, Kirkharle Courtyard, Kirkharle, change of use from agricultural field to play area.

Longhorsley: Ms Fiona Bell, 1 East Linden View, East Road, porch extension and off-street parking to front.

Matfen: Mr and Mrs J Maxwell MacDonald, East House, Ryal, new planning permission to replace an extant permission to extend the time limit for implementation, CM/20090651, construction of two-storey extension to west elevation and alterations internally and to existing porch.

Mitford: Mr John Vowell, Seaton Ryde, Tranwell Woods, new planning permission to replace an extant permission in order to extend the time limit for implementation, CM20071027.

Ponteland: Lugano Developments Ltd, land at Birney Hill Farm, Stamfordham Road, demolition of some existing buildings and the construction of up to 280 dwellings and provision of up to 650sqm of B1 floorspace, no greater than 250sqm (gross) of A1/A3 retail floorspace, up to 500sqm of D1 floorspace, a community farm and associated buildings, landscaping, open space, access and associated engineering works; Simon Maddison, Mill House, West Road, Tree Preservation Order, T4 sycamore tree to be pruned back from the adjacent car parking area by 2m, T6 elm tree fell to ground level, T7 elm tree to prune back from the adjacent car parking area by 2m; Mark Joynes, land at south end of Western Way/Stamfordham Road, Darras Hall, erection of aerial bunched conductor.

Stannington: Mr Peter Candler, land south west of Chapel, St Mary’s Hospital, amendment to permission for 1,135m2 of commercial development, conference centre and associated landscaping; Mrs Janet Cornhill, Mascot Joinery, 2-3 Whitehouse Farm Centre, change of use from B1 to A1/B8.
