THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: Prof S Rushton, 2 Foulmartlaw Cottages, Gallowhill, construction of single storey conservatory to the rear.

Cresswell: Jason Oakley, overhead lines, north of Cresswell, refurbish approximately 800m of overhead electricity line.

Longhorsley: Mr J Bell, land east of Normandy Terrace, East Road, proposed residential development for approximately 12 dwellings.

Matfen: Matfen Estate, Standing Stone, Hope Lane, revisions to existing approved proposal, alterations to existing workshop building and construction of new single and two storey extension for B1 use.

Meldon: Mr Anthony Myatt, land west of Lightwater House, Mitford, construction of replacement two storey house, agricultural barn, access road and proposed package treatment plant for the existing Lightwater Cottage; Mr B Shepherd, The Cottage, Maidens Hall, Pigdon, proposed re-building of cottage to form a four bedroomed dwelling.

Morpeth: Mrs Hazel Krzyzanowski, Robert Burn Partnership, Unit 2, The Old Stables, Greys Yard, change of use from B1 to A1 for use as a shop selling sugar craft equipment and ingredients and the manufacture of bespoke cakes to order; Network Rail Infrastructure, Morpeth Railway Station, Coopies Lane, Listed Building Consent, relocation of historic railings to stairwell and erection of new railings, lining of subway area with panelling and addition of PVC panels to elements of ceiling and lift shaft lobby areas; Mr R Green, Green Agriculture Co Country Store, Old Station Buildings, Coopies Lane, erection of a new detached two storey storage building, landscaping and alterations, erection of fencing and gates; Mrs V Hall, 56B Newgate Street, change of use from B2 to A1; Mr Wiseman, 20 Southgate Wood, Tree Preservation Order application to fell one Lawson Cypress; Mr Mike Dackiewicz, land at Staithes Lane and east of Dark Lane, variation to condition 49, trading hours, and removal of condition 50, delivery restrictions.

Ponteland: G Houghton, Waggon Inn, Higham Dykes, Milbourne, construction of 11 affordable houses; Mr G Shield, West Thorn Farm, West Thorn, Kirkley, removal of condition 2 and 3 of permission CM/20100399, raise roof line, new stonework to some elevations, alterations to doors/windows and additional Velux windows; Mr N Roberts, 21 Regency Way, Darras Hall, construction of first floor front extension to provide additional bedroom with en-suite bathroom; Mr Carl Ince, 31 Runnymede Road, demolition of existing house and replacement with new family home with integral garage; Mr David Walton, 51 Cheviot View, amendment to approval 12/01265/FUL to include brick pillar to garage door, brick panels to side of bedroom juliet balcony doors, increase eaves height of garage by 350mm, retain existing window to landing and addition of Velux roof window to rear bedroom and bathroom on east elevation.

Widdrington Station and Stobswood: Mr Andrew Clarke, 2, 3 and 4 Grangemoor Road, Widdrington Station, change of use to Unit B to join the units C and D that are currently in use as a restaurant, additional advertising sign to external frontage.
