Stunt park could remain

A TEMPORARY stunt park in Pegswood could become a permanent feature after it proved to be a big hit over the summer holidays.

Young people have turned up in their droves with their BMX bikes and skateboards to use the facility, which was located at the former bowling green in the Welfare field.

The equipment, which was free to use, was put in place on behalf of Pegswood Parish Council as part of efforts to have a range of recreational facilities for children of a mixture of ages in that area of the village.

The users are now being asked for their input on locations and the make-up of a potential permanent stunt park. The Pegswood Community Action group is also being consulted.
