Winners move to a new meeting venue

THE ladies of Morpeth Inner Wheel enjoyed their February meeting at a new venue.

They were warmly welcomed at The Waterford Hotel on a cold wintry evening.

Their guest speaker was Mrs Norma Fay, District 3 Chairman, who gave a brief summary of her background and her aims and objectives for her year in office.

President Vivien Scott had brought along the lovely salver which our club had won at the Rotary Annual Quiz Night. This salver was displayed with pride as we had battled against great opposition, which consisted of teams of four from Soroptimists, Morpeth Lions and Rotary.

Our next meeting is in the form of a Fun Auction to raise money for Water Aid as this is one of our overseas charities and March 5 happens to be Water Aid Day.
