A wonderful find. Very reasonably priced, and that homemade vanilla is nothing short of heavenly. Some of the best ice cream I've had outside of Italy. I'll be back - even if it is a 100 mile round trip! (Well the dog and I did enjoy the walk on the beach as well.)

Lovely little ice cream shop in Cresswell village on the Northumberland coast.
It has been here for 80 years and they make traditional home made dairy vanilla and other flavoured ice cream. They also do sweets. rock and hot & cold drinks.
They sell allsorts of seaside things like beach games, gifts etc.
The shop overlooks the sea with views along the bay to coquet island. opposite is the village green and 14th Century Pele Tower.
A fantastic stop off point when traveling a long this way or if your having a visit to the beach!
