Appeal for fair volunteers

ORGANISERS of Morpeth’s premier summer event are inviting more people to get involved.

Morpeth Fair Day brings tens of thousands of visitors into the town to enjoy parades, fairground rides, stalls, displays, entertainment, games and more.

This year’s event will take place on Sunday, June 9, and will follow the traditional formula.

However, organisers at the Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade are hoping more members will get involved in planning the fair in a monthly working group. Meetings usually last about an hour and often finish with a social evening.
