The peach tree is most outstanding, covered in bloom right now. And it’s a daily pleasure rather than chore to dust every one with a brush to help secure the crop.
Buds are swelling prior to bursting open on most garden perennials, honey bees are mobbing the heathers, several other flowers are in bloom and we are nowhere near finishing all the plant relocations.
The lawn is already looking slightly ragged with new growth, including daisies, so no more holding back, first cut this weekend.
There is also the small matter of essential turf-laying to complete. In truth, this gardener is not quite ready for spring yet.
