Exploring the pleasure in prints

ON Tuesday, January 10, Morpeth Camera Club enjoyed a presentation given by Anne Swearman, entitled Pleasure in Prints.

Members were treated to beautiful sunsets in Mull, Harris and the west coast of Scotland and in her Miscellaneous section they were shown many images, with abstract use of form and patterns, lines and shadow.

A Portrait section followed with atmospheric images of characters at Beamish and Whitby and a still-life section of fruits and flowers.

This was followed by beautiful images taken in Buttermere and Derwentwater in the Lake District.

Finally, in the Surreal Image section, Anne treated members to images which had been cleverly composed in Photoshop.

This was all interspersed with humorous anecdotes of her experiences when taking her photographs and very useful tips on technique.

Club Chairman, Dave Illingworth, thanked Anne on behalf of the club for a very enjoyable evening.
