Final call to county artists

A FINAL call has gone out for Northumberland artists to join a special celebration.

Network Artists, which brings together artists across the region, is marking its 21st anniversary this year.

And there is a double celebration as its annual open studios event The Art Tour will have been running for 18 years.

The event sees artists inviting people into their studios to find out what inspires their work, browse sketchbooks and talk informally about the creations. This year the tour will also form part of the Festival of the North East.

It is open to all artists, including painters, jewellers, sculptors, potters, photographers, stained glass artists, knitters, weavers, cabinet-makers, print-makers and bookbinders.
