GARDENERS interested in planting bulbs this autumn can receive hints and tips at a garden centre near Morpeth.
Staff at Heighley Gate Nursery and Garden Centre, off the A697, will be offering free advice during October to anyone who is planning or thinking of growing bulbs for spring colour.
And resident bulb experts will be on hand to answer queries from both new and more experienced gardeners.
General Manager Roger Wale said: “We have one of the largest collections in the area with thousands of bulbs and hundreds of varieties in stock.”
