ON a cold February evening the members of Kirkley WI gathered at Kirkley Hall for their monthly meeting.
The speaker, Malcolm Hendry, spoke about his work as a clinical hypnotherapist at his practice in Ponteland.
He had worked in a company which presented him with a lot of pressures. In seeking a cure from these pressures he trained to help others relax and enjoy life. This work includes changing your attitude and giving you confidence to face your fears and phobias.
The competition for a peaceful winter photograph was won by Joan Harrison.
In the business meeting members were reminded about the Valentine’s Dance on February 11. Ideas for the summer outing in July were also discussed and members were asked to give suggestions at the next meeting.
