A MAN is seeking the help of Herald readers to put him in touch with long-lost relatives.
John Bean, of Newmarket, has traced his family back to 1792 when William Bean was living in the Morpeth and Woodhorn area.
He married Mary Saint, of Morpeth, the daughter of Thomas and Ann Saint.
William and Mary’s third son, John, born in 1799, became a miller at Cut Bank, Newcastle, but before his move to the city he married Margaret Brewis, of Bedlington.
Now Mr Bean is hoping to make contact with anyone who is a descendant of any of the families mentioned.
They can contact him at email@example.com
