VARIETY is the spice of life as a Northumberland talent show is back by popular demand.

In previous years, Northumberland’s Got Talent has entertained hundreds of families at an annual festival at Druridge Bay.

And this year The Big Event will return with a special Diamond Jubilee theme and a new venue, The Lodge at St Benet Biscop High School in Bedlington.

There will also be a new name – The Big Variety Show. Organisers are now seeking entrants for the show, with a deadline for applications of Tuesday.
