THE full line-up for this Images of Yesteryear photograph that featured on May 17 has been identified.
The picture was taken on May 30, 1987, at the 38th Annual Luncheon of Soroptimist International Morpeth Club.
Club president at the time, Audrey Kimberley, visited the Herald office to put names to the faces.
She said: “This luncheon was at Espley Hall, but we had the dinner at quite a few different places over the years. It was for Morpeth members, friends, local dignitaries and other club members in the region.
“It carries on now as our Charter Event, which is normally a lunch.
“I still have the original photograph, the original programme and even the cutting from the Herald.”
Miss Kimberley has been a member of the club for about 35 years and still attends today.
Elisabeth Elders and Elizabeth Murphy, who are pictured, also continue to attend.
Miss Elders has been regional president and Mrs Murphy served as club president twice.
The picture shows, back, left to right, Elisabeth Elders, Darlington soroptimist Ella Gray, Elizabeth Murphy and Jennifer Temple, wife of Morpeth Rotary president Clive Temple, pictured far left in the front.
The rest of the front row are Castle Morpeth Deputy Mayoress Gillian Hunter, Audrey Kimberley, Deputy Mayor Ian Hunter and President of the Divisional Union of Northern England Sheila Stoddart.
