Thousands of thanks

The 4th Morpeth Scout Troop, based in Low Stanners recently held their Spring Coffee Morning at the Town Hall. The event raised over �1000 towards the completion of their Head Quarters Extension. Part of the event was a 'Morpeth Treats' Raffle which was generously supported by many businesses in Morpeth. Here. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are seen with 'Thank You' letters for the many businesses who so kindly gave prizes. These were: Avril's Hairdressers, Bin 21, The Cheese Shop, Dragon's Den, Geomarine, Hardy's, Morpeth Bouldering Wall, Northumbria Mountain Sports, Pepperpot, Riverside Leisure Centre, The Tap and Spile, Treacle Wool Shop, Urban Spa and Varley's. Everyone involved with the Scout Group would like to say a huge 'Thank You' to these businesses who supported us.

HARD-WORKING Scouts raised more than a cup of good cheer at their recent coffee morning as more than £1,000 was collected.

The 4th Morpeth Scout Troop held the Spring Coffee Morning at Morpeth Town Hall, including a Morpeth Treats Raffle, which was generously supported by local businesses.

The money collected from the event will go towards the completion of the extension at the group’s Low Stanners headquarters.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have now written letters to thank businesses for their support.
