MORPETH walkers will be presented with a challenge for their next outing.
Members of Morpeth Footpaths Society will take on a 10-mile strenuous walk to Yeavering Bell.
Starting in Wooler, the route goes via Humbleton, Gleadscleugh and White Law, returning by St Cuthbert’s Way.
It will be led by Martin Laidler and follows roads, tracks and moorland paths, which can be rough, steep and boggy.
The walk takes place on Sunday, starting at the Wooler Tourist Information Centre car park at 11am.
