THERE are two walks to keep Morpeth Footpaths Society busy this week.
The first will take place on Sunday when it will be full steam ahead for a seven-mile railway ramble from Scot’s Gap.
It will be led by Tom Lisgo and is expected to take around three-and-a-half hours.
Meet at the National Trust office car park at 1pm.
On Tuesday there will be a six-mile evening walk around Morpeth.
Led by Sarah Howells, it will take in Carlisle Park, Newminster Abbey, Scotch Gill Woods, Lancaster Park, Cottingwood Lane, Cottingwood Common and Blue Bell Woods, setting off at 6.30pm from the Riverside Leisure Centre.
