KEVIN Keegan says he has no intention of banning Obafemi Martins's somersault celebration.
And Keegan insists he wants to see more of Martins' acrobatics this season, as well as Jonas Gutierrez's famous Spider-man mask celebration.

Martins struck Newcastle United's first goal of the campaign in last Sunday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old ran to the visiting bench and somersaulted in delight.

Other managers have banned their players from such celebrations for fear of injury, with former Newcastle striker Lomana LuaLua having hurt himself after scoring for Portsmouth.

But Keegan is not about to rein in Martins, who will lead the line for United against Bolton Wanderers at St James's Park on Saturday.

He said: "I'd love to see more of them, and I'd like to see Spider-man putting his mask on every week!"

Gutierrez, of course, earned his Spider-man nickname by donning a super-hero mask after scoring for former club Real Mallorca against Osasuna.

Dozens of Newcastle's travelling fans at Old Trafford donned Spider-man suits in tribute to the winger, who has said he will not repeat the madcap celebration for fear of getting booked.

Martins, meanwhile, will again lead the line in the absence of Michael Owen.

However, Keegan believes he can handle the responsibility of playing up front on his own.

He said: "Martins, on his own up front, is a handful for anybody with his pace.

"His leap for the goal was outstanding. The opposition have got to put big guys on him, because if they put someone of a similar size, he'll beat them.

"I've never seen anybody leap like him."
