A HADSTON man is part of a new film which takes an in-depth look at Tibetan culture.

Carl Stiansen, who runs Chevstar Records and Media Productions and is a DJ for Lionheart Radio, is the Narrator for 'Dancing in Amdo', which premieres in the US city New York on Saturday.

The film explores how Chinese officials and Tibetans, those living in China and in exile in India, feel about the relationship between the two and efforts to preserve Tibetan culture.

It includes an interview with the Dalai Lama and the music of Tibetan band JJI Exile Brothers (Chevstar Records).
