CUBS from throughout the Castle Morpeth area put their Scouting talents to the test at their annual camp.
It was held at the Whitehouse Farm Centre, near Morpeth, and a total of 70 youngsters took part.
Activities were largely sporting because the theme of the weekend was a mini Olympic Games.
Roger Ashmore, District Commissioner for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, said: "It was a really good camp this year, even though there was a few rain showers around on Saturday and Sunday. We had some marquees set up for wet weather so that wasn't a major problem.
"Cubs from across the Castle Morpeth area took part, there were groups from Morpeth, Pegswood, Stannington and a few from Ponteland as well.
"The activities we had planned went really well. One of them was a two mile walk that involved teams carrying a stretcher around the course; each stretcher had a full watering can on top and the more they spilled the less points they got.
"We also got our hands on some four metre cardboard tubes and the lads had to use paints to transform them into their own totem poles. They really enjoyed the task and came up with some spectacular results."
The camp got under way on Friday night and ran until Sunday afternoon.
