BUSINESS could be booming with the chance to join a Morpeth networking group.
The Morpeth Chapter of Business Network International (BNI) is seeking more members from a range of trades and professions to help build local contacts.

The group, which includes an accountant, virtual assistant and web designer, meets every Tuesday for an early 7am start to work through a 20-point agenda over breakfast.

Meetings feature the chance for members to give a 60-second presentation about their business and to request specific contacts or referrals.

Accountant Bruce Cusworth from Ponteland-based JBC Management Solutions said: "I view BNI as the marketing arm of my business.

"By creating strong personal relationships and building up trust we all try to help each other gain business. It's about getting to know someone, liking them and trusting them."

Only one representative from a particular profession is allowed to join the group to avoid any competition between members.

For more information about BNI contact Northumbria Executive Director Lynley Robb on 0191 237 9820.
