Heighley helps charities
A SPECIAL shopping evening is in store in Morpeth this week.
Heighley Gate Garden Centre will host the ticket-only event on Thursday when customers will be given a ten percent discount, free refreshments and entry to a prize draw.
There will also be a number of demonstrations, including food tasting, live music and flower and planting sessions.
Tickets for the Spring Extravaganza cost £4, with half the proceeds going to St Oswald's Hospice and the Great North Air Ambulance.
The event runs from 6pm to 9pm.
