On the 10th of April 2014 Northlands residents, staff and relatives celebrated Carol Forsters 21 years of service as a care assistant with a surprise party.

She received a bottle of Champagne, bouquet of flowers, signed card and banner made by the residents to mark the occasion.

A big surprise was in store for a care assistant when she turned up for a shift at work.

A party for Carol Forster was organised by staff and residents at Northlands in Morpeth to celebrate her 21 years of service at the care home.

She received a bottle of champagne, bouquet of flowers, signed card and banner made by the residents to mark the occasion.

Manager Linda Pritchard said: “Carol is an invaluable member of staff.”
