Alpaca talk at Kirkley

The Friends of Kirkley Hall, the charity that supports students at Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall Campus, is inviting members of the public to attend an illustrated talk about a woolly animal.

Guest speaker Melanie Douglas’ subject is ‘Alpaca Breeding for Fun and Profit’.

The talk will take place at Kirkley Hall, near Ponteland, on Wednesday from 7pm. Booking is essential. Anyone interested should book their place by calling secretary Jean Fellows-Prynne on 01661 823423 or President Brenda Parke on 01661 853489. Entry for each event is £5 per person.

Proceeds from this event will go towards educational trips for students,
and to improve facilities for the public at the campus such as the gardens, zoo and hall itself.
