Applicants seek planning consent

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: Mr Richard Leiper, land north of Black Heddon Farm, proposed agricultural storage building.

East Chevington: Mr Ian Small, land south of Druridge View, Main Street, Red Row, amend approval CM/20090458, erection of six dwellings, four two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows and two three-bedroom detached bungalows.

Ellington and Linton: Mr Bryan Cross, 1 High Farm Cottages, Ellington, Listed Building Consent for removal of non-original fire surround, gas fire insert and hearth, and replacement with reclaimed fire surround, wood burning stove and slate hearth in living room, removal of non-original fairfaced brick pier in kitchen.

Longhorsley: Ms Irene Anderson, land north east of The Acres, relocation of service pole and installation of underground cable from pole to kiosk to provide electricity to water pump.

Matfen: Mr and Mrs Urwin, High House Farm, Listed Building Consent for alterations to curtilage.

Mitford: Mr Miles Hewitt, The Plough Inn, change of use from public house to dwelling incorporating external alterations, including first floor balcony.

Morpeth: Mr J Holmes, 9 Brumell Drive, Lancaster Park, rear extension to extend kitchen/utility with en-suite bathroom and front porch alterations; Mr Barry Wilson, land east of 7 Sweethope Dene, Loansdean, Tree Preservation Order, partial crown reduction of one oak to achieve clearance from property (lower branches only) and crown clean to remove any weak, diseased and dead branches throughout crown to prevent damage and remove hazard.

Ponteland: Mr James Adams, Hill Park House, 1 Hill Park, Darras Hall, Tree Preservation Order, fell silver birch, reduce sycamore by 25 per cent, thin sycamore by 15 per cent, thin and crown lift sycamore by 15 per cent, crown lift scots pine by ten per cent, pollard sycamore and reduce silver birch by 25 per cent; Mr and Mrs Colin and Rachel Seller, 17 Regency Way, Darras Hall, non-material amendment to permission 12/02107/FUL (construction of two storey infill to front and single storey sun room to rear), amendment relates to changes to rear roof of extension, addition of glazed lantern and balcony at first floor and addition of glazed screen to balcony; Isos Housing, land west of 83 and 85 Rowan Drive, advertisement consent for one temporary site signboard to be in place during construction; Mr Ashley Eyre, 43 West Road, construction of a two storey side extension to form bedroom accommodation; Mr David Lewis, Willowdene, 6A Wentworth Court, Darras Hall, proposed conservatory; Mrs Francesca Mitchell, The Old Mill Kennels, Kirkley Mill, two storey extension to rear for kitchen/dining area with two bedrooms and bathroom over.

Stannington: Lord Matthew Ridley, Thornhill Cottage, Blagdon Estate, single storey extension to replace sub-standard garage, stores and porch.

Tritlington and West Chevington: Mr Neil Marlborough, former Steadsburn Surface Mine, West Chevington, scoping request for holiday village development.
