Awards for school's sporting offer
It is one of the few small primaries to receive a Silver Sainsbury’s School Games Award, which recognises the wide variety of sports offered during curriculum time and also after school, including clubs and team games organised with other local schools.
Headteacher Belinda Athey said: “We are pleased to gain the recognition for the provision we offer, despite our size, enabling us to prepare our children for a healthy lifestyle and for the sporting provision which they will experience at the Duchess’s Community High School.

This facility should be open to the school and the wider community by the end of this year.
