Bank staff in Morpeth are going the egg-stra mile for a Northumberland youth scheme.

The Virgin Money branch in Bridge Street is collecting Easter eggs to pass on to Choysez, which supports young people who struggle in the education system by offering alternative indoor and outdoor activities, accredited courses and recognised qualifications.

Donations of Easter eggs are welcome in the branch from customers and others.

Manager Wanda Hunt said: “You can really help to make a difference.”
