WITH little over a month to go to the school summer holidays, Morpeth youth workers are making big plans.
Barnabas Safe and Sound, based in Dark Lane, is mapping out a programme of activities to keep teenagers amused throughout the six-week break, with a mix of sport, arts and music.
However, it will need volunteers to put the plans into action.
Chief Executive Chris Menzies said: “We are getting some plans in place for the summer time, but more people are needed to help out. We are looking for new volunteers or people with experience of working with young people. If people have experience of arts activities or music activities and that sort of thing it would certainly be useful.”
