Burglary at town first school

Burglars have struck at a school in the town centre of Morpeth.

They broke into St Robert’s RC First School in Oldgate between 6.30pm on Saturday, June 18 and 8.40am on Sunday, June 19.

The burglars stole four Dell laptops, an iPad and an amplifier device before making off.

Inquiries are on-going into the break-in and anyone with any information about the offence is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number 377 19/06/16.
