NORTHUMBERLAND businesses offering student or graduate internships have been given more time to enter the National Council for Work Experience (NCWE) Awards.
Originally set for December 9, the deadline to enter has been extended to Friday, January 6, to take into account the busy Christmas and New Year period.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Tuesday, March 20. Dr Paul Redmond, Head of Careers and Employability at the University of Liverpool, will be the main speaker.
Mike Hill, Chief Executive of the Higher Education Careers Services Unit which operates the NCWE Awards, said: “All short-listed companies are given a free place at the ceremony, which is always a glittering affair and offers an excellent opportunity to network.”
Organisations from all sectors and sizes can enter one or more of the 12 categories by going to www.work-experience.org/awards
