A helping hand for unit

The Morpeth branch of an estate and letting agent is supporting a children’s learning centre following a sickening attack on its small animal farm.

Last month, five tame ducks, a guinea pig and a goose were brutally killed at the Northumberland Pupil Referral Unit in Hepscott Park when an intruder entered their pen.

To help the unit buy new animals and install extra security, Rook Matthews Sayer in Newgate Street will be giving £10 to it for every property listed at the branch until the end of July as well as encouraging visitors and customers to donate into a collection box. In addition, staff will be organising and running activities to raise funds for the unit.
