THERE’S changes at the top of a Morpeth business group after a regular review.
The Turner Chapter of Business Network International meets in the town every week for members to share ideas and pass on thousands of pounds worth of business referrals.
To keep the group fresh, changes to the leadership are made every six months so Chapter Director Ian Rochester, from Amble-based Lionheart Cleaning, has handed over the reins to Dr Christopher Tait, who runs Layer 7 IT Solutions in Ashington.
And Dr Tait is looking forward to his new role.
“Turner Chapter is a vibrant group of people who want to help each other achieve even better results for their businesses,” he said.
“It’s much more than a networking group as since I joined I’ve had a steady stream of work generated by my fellow members.”
He will be assisted by energy utility expert Danny Finlay, from Swarland, and financial advisor Julie Croney, of Wallsend.
The group is still looking to expand its membership and has vacancies for a printer, book keeper and trades people.
It meets at Morpeth’s Riverside Lodge every Tuesday at 7am.
