A MORPETH-BASED business is on the up after gaining a major new human resources contract overseas.
Inspire People Group and business partner Westmark Consulting of Vancouver will work with 1,500 employees across 10 different ministries in a Canadian province.
Its team will design and deliver an online assessment tool to dovetail with the biggest Change Management programme (an organisational process aimed at helping employees to accept and embrace changes in their workplace to improve performance) ever undertaken in Canada.
Members will also make recommendations to staff working for the Government of Saskatchewan, which awarded the contract.
Inspire’s founding partner Graham Cook said: “We are delighted with this vote of confidence in our ability to deliver at the highest level in the public sector.
“We undertook three smaller projects for the client in 2010, however this is easily the single biggest piece of work we have been awarded since our formation in early 2009.
“Our partners have all worked in senior positions during their corporate careers, but this is a real boost for our small professional partnership.
“It would be nice to deliver this sort of work closer to home and make some real difference in these austere times, however this experience will doubtless prove invaluable for the future.”
The business provides HR consultancy and training across all sectors, specialising in people and performance management.
Clients include electronics manufacturer Sevcon, a number of GP practices, various small and medium enterprises and North East based universities.
