A young Morpeth manufacturing apprentice has been short-listed for a prestigious award.
Adam Hands, 22, who trains at Rolls-Royce, is the running for the Outstanding Performance By A Final Year Apprentice gong in the EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards.
He will battle it out with 11 others for the award after impressing judges with his dedication to manufacturing.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Harrogate in February and will go on to vie for the national title.
Mr Hands said: “I’ve learned so much during my apprenticeship and this is the icing on the cake.”
