A MORPETH shop has a brand new look after receiving a major makeover.
Now called Greggs the Bakery, the town branch on Bridge Street has been turned into a traditional bakery shop with a modern twist and it has a range of new products including freshly-baked artisan and crusty breads and a selection of cakes and confectionery.
The complete overhaul was done to differentiate it from Greggs food-on-the-go shops.
Morpeth is the fourth location in the UK to receive this latest format from the company, which has been launched after customer research highlighted a desire for a different style of bakery shop.
Retail director Raymond Reynolds said: “We’re excited to bring our latest concept shop to Morpeth. We are really looking forward to hearing what the community thinks and welcoming new customers into our shop.”
