Brides help pick the best in the business
NORTH East newlyweds have named the best in the business for weddings.
And included in the list are Lynemouth-based Graphic Embers, Fern Floristry from Morpeth and Longhirst Hall.
The gongs were organised by The Wedding Guide magazine to recognise outstanding customer service.
Customers voted for the companies who entered the awards to make up the shortlist of finalists and judges analysed their comments to decide the winners.
More than 100 people from businesses across the region attended a gala dinner at Beamish Hall Country House Hotel where the trophies were given out.
Graphic Embers won the Stationery section, Fern took the Floristry prize and Longhirst Hall was named best venue, along with Beamish Hall.
Publisher Liz Clark said: “Brides and grooms are looking for something special, for the company that goes the extra mile to help deliver a truly amazing wedding day. The finalists in all the award categories are testament to this and all have displayed examples of excellent customer service and commitment to their weddings.
“We hope the fact that these awards were voted for by newlywed couples in the North East will give the companies who won them great satisfaction and confidence, and also encourage even more people to apply next year.”
