VISITORS to a Northumberland rural shop complex this weekend can meet some exotic animals.

To mark the launch of its new store at Kirkharle Courtyard, panier d’amour has teamed up with one of the brands it stocks – Wear Alpaca.

Those coming along on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm and Sunday between 11am and 5pm can stroke, pet, feed and have pictures taken with the two alpacas that the yarn is spun from and some of the unique products featured in the store are made.

The company, which was initially established as an e-commerce website, specialises in gift collections made up of distinct products.
