THE Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade has hailed this year’s Chairman’s Dinner a success.

Chairman John Beynon said it was the first time in recent memory that a small profit was made at the annual event, which this year took place in Riverside Lodge, High Stanners.

Malcolm Stawart proposed a vote of thanks to Judith Nunn for the professional manner in which the event was organised and Mr Beynon gave her a small award on behalf of the organisation.
