Taxi firm drives home a new Morpeth marketing message

A NEW marketing initiative is under way to drive more customers to Morpeth.
Town-based Express Taxis has re-branded all seven of its vehicles with eye-catching messages announcing Love Shopping — Love Morpeth.
The striking livery also includes a picture of one of Sanderson Arcade’s friendly Beadles Glen Mason.
Express Taxis has been based in the bus interchange at the Morpeth shopping centre since it opened in 2009 and the company has just signed another five-year lease.
Owner Paul Blades said: “The cars look great and they certainly stand out.
“We’re delighted to be doing our bit to promote Morpeth while we’re out and about on the roads.”
The new branding should be seen across the region while the taxi firm goes about its daily business.
Sanderson Arcade Manager Medi Parry said: “The Express Taxis really look fantastic.
“We’re really pleased with the finished effect on the cars and I think they’ll certainly get noticed while they’re driving around across the region.
“We’re also very pleased that Paul’s business is continuing to grow here at the arcade.”
