An enterprising woman is confident that she has made the right move for her business.

Claire Blacklock opened the Noir Massage Studio at Castle Square in the summer of 2013 following a few years working for other organisations.

After building up a decent client base, she recently decided to relocate to the Watson House Holistic Therapy Centre in Oldgate.

She can do a variety of different techniques which help parts or all of the body and allow people to relax their mind.

“The unit in Castle Square was a good place to start off, but when I noticed that there was a space available in Watson House, I decided to have a look because I felt it would be a more suitable location for my business,” said Miss Blacklock.

“I moved in last month and I’m happy that I went ahead with it. The unit is bigger than my old one and has a homely feel to it and the area is a bit quieter, which helps my clients to relax when I’m giving them a massage.

“I was adamant that I would stay in Morpeth, but I’m still delighted that my clients have followed me to the new location. The feedback so far has been very positive.

“Having a Facebook page has also been a big help in building up the business.”

The techniques on offer at Noir Massage Studio include Swedish, hot stones, aromatherapy, deep tissue, bamboo, lava shells and Thai and facials are also available. To make an appointment, call 01670 511293 or 07456 099310.
