A HIGH-FLYING Morpeth girl is hoping to make her mark in public relations after joining a local business.
Emily Charlton, who has two first class degrees, has joined Blagdon agency MDA as a public relations executive.
The 23-year-old, who attended King Edward VI School, graduated from Birmingham University with a First in history and politics, before gaining a Masters degree with a distinction from Newcastle.
She said: “I’m really happy to have been given the opportunity to work at MDA. It’s a career in public relations that I really want.
“I’m looking forward to learning from the very experienced team at MDA and will be working hard to help maintain its excellent reputation.”
Ms Charlton will assist the team with a range of clients, including Tesco, P&G and BAE Systems.
