A MAJOR business advisory practice has appointed five directors to help develop its services.

Ryecroft Glenton, which has offices in Morpeth, Newcastle and North Tyneside, specialises in tax, corporate finance, business services, audit and assurance.

The new directors are all experienced specialists who have worked with the practice for years.

Simon Hopwood, Director for Taxation Services, will be particularly responsible for advising on corporation tax, while Andrew Cameron, Director of Corporate Services, acts for larger corporate groups, helping to identify risks and recommend future strategies to improve performance and profitability.

Graham Darbourne and Helen Pennock, who are Directors in the Assurance and Business Services team, specialise in advising owner-managed businesses.

And Chris Black, who is a Director in the same team, does consultancy and regulatory work for educational institutions and charities.

Managing Partner Chris Robson said: “These five new directors are all home-grown talent.

“They have each worked with us as managers for some years and have all actively contributed to the development of our firm.

“They are a testimony to the firm’s commitment to developing and nurturing talent from within.

“This move reinforces the active approach clients can expect from Ryecroft Glenton.”
