A MORPETH business group has bid a fond farewell to its Vice Chairman.
Debbie Anderson served in the position for the Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade, but she has resigned after leaving her post as Sanderson Arcade Manager to move on to a new job in Middlesbrough.
At a chamber meeting on Monday, members were read a letter from Mrs Anderson thanking them for their warmth and support in the three years that she worked in Morpeth.
“It has been a pleasure to be part of chamber life, the good and the bad, and I hope you will continue to build on all the initiatives that help to make the town prosper,” she said.
Chamber Chairman John Beynon will write a letter of thanks to Mrs Anderson for her service.
“I think we should thank Debbie for her help because she has done an enormous amount for the chamber and she will be a miss,” he said.
