TWO businesses at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade shopping centre are on the move.
But hair salon Jazz and Jump Shoes for Kids are not leaving the complex, they are going into bigger units to offer more for their customers.
And excitement is building as two new fashion retailers are joining the line-up at the arcade. They are due to be announced later in the month.
Jazz can now be found at Austin House next to Central Bean they will be expanding into a larger unit once it is completed in the spring.
The move comes as the company is joined by new stylists Michael McKane and Loren Sayer.
Owner Paul Jackson said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for us to look at expanding as a business, having more space and offering something different to our customers once we have moved across.
“In the meantime we want to assure everyone that it’s business as usual in our shorter term location.”
Jump Shoes for Kids is moving just a few steps across the arcade’s gallery to a double fronted store being created in the former Just for You and Jazz units, giving the shop more window space and more room to increase the clothing range.
Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Medi Parry said: “We are looking forward to announcing some new retailers in the next couple of weeks and are also working on relocating both Jazz and Jump, so it’s been a busy start to the New Year.”
